‘Digital Beijing’ building in Beijing, China is the control and data center of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The construction resembles a jumbo circuit board and digital bar code.

Ohio Theater by Hiroshi Sugimoto, 1980 from his ‘Theatres’ series, a project photographing old American movie palaces and drive-ins. The image consists of one exposure, the shutter being left open for the duration of the film and the projector providing the sole lighting.

Flight patterns by Aaron Koblin - a simulation project where data from the US Federal Aviation Administration is used to create animations of flight traffic patterns and density. Planes are sorted by type and plotted accordingly.

An example of Alexandre Orion’s ‘reverse’ graffiti in the Tunnel Max Feffer, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Alexandre’s works are created by cleaning dirt from the tunnel walls to form intricate skull friezes.

Eleven Rocks, 2008 by Josef Hoflehner, an Austrian photographer who has exhibited worldwide and was voted Nature Photographer of the Year at the International Photography Awards,     2007. His photos are  often monochromatic and shot with long exposures.
